Several times a week, I have people in my DM’s asking me different places to go and places to check out around town each weekend. In order to not get super overwhelmed, I thought I’d give some of my favorite spots in different parts of town.

VIDORRA
Indoor/outdoor Mexican food location with 2 patios you’ll fall in love with.
PUNCH BOWL SOCIAL
It’s a bar, it’s a restaurant, it’s bowling, it’s karaoke. It’s the place you and your friends want to hang out for hours.
JENI’S SPLENDID ICE CREAM
An ice cream shop that sells by the scoop or by the pint, either way, you’ll satisfy your sweet tooth. And guess what? There are dairy free options available.
LE BON TEMPS
If you like Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans, this will satisfy your beignet needs. They’re made fresh daily and you can smell the freshness of them just walking by.
NIWA
Japanese BBQ. You get to grill your own food at your table. Yes, you will get full as the food keeps coming as long as you keep ordering.
HARLOWE MXM
Casual and trendy restaurant offering creative craft cocktails. After your meal, feel free to go on the roof to enjoy the whole view of Deep Ellum and more cocktails.
STIRR
The floor to ceiling windows in the main dining room makes fro great people watching while you dine. After you’re done eating, take the stairs to the rooftop lounge and enjoy all the verbiage you get to read on your way up for cocktails.
TERRY BLACKS
It’s Texas BBQ. Eat too much and you’ll be asleep in your car because it’s that good.
SERIOUS PIZZA
Perfect for those late might munchies after you’ve hung out late at night in Deep Ellum with all your friends. Here’s a tip: Check out how HUGE the seriously large pizza is.
PICOLE POPS
Yes, it’s popsicles, but it has all the creative flavors you can think of like smores, strawberry cheesecake, and raspberry. Here’s a tip you’ll love: there are several options infused with alcohol. You’re welcome.
Are there any other restaurants I should add to the list? Let me know in the comments below!
